Tura, November 19, 2023 - The triumphant conclusion of the 7th Edition of the Bilgaro Car Rally in Tura saw Ronan Bazeley securing both the overall champion and Car category titles, while Daniel M Sangma claimed victory in the SUV category. Organized by the Tura Motor Sports Club (TMSC), the event featured 27 rally racers from Tura, Nagaland, and Khasi Hills.
The challenging 'Hill Climb' at Aguragre spanned a demanding 6-kilometer track, complemented by the exhilarating 'Sprint' at Anogre covering a 9-kilometer route. The incorporation of LIDAR technology by TMSC enhanced precision in timing calculations.

Following the conclusion of the competitive rallies, a prize distribution ceremony was held at Aldara Cafe Rongkhon, Tura, graced by the presence of Shri Sanjay A. Sangma, Mahendraganj MLA, as the chief guest. Sanjay A. Sangma expressed his joy at being part of the event and was delighted to see rally drivers not only from different parts of the state but also from Nagaland participating in this thrilling competition.
The event ended in a high note with promise for a more captivating edition next year.
